Another day in paradise...ha!ha!

Well, not much had gone on in the 6 days i've had off...but some how i've stayed busy!  I started another cake about 2 days ago.  I made a almond flavored cake with white frosting.  I also spent about $100 more dollars on cake supplies.  Every time I make one, I learn something new...I guess practice really does make perfect...i hope!  I'm trying to make a more traditional wedding cake. It is all white with some black decorations on it.  Very formal for a black and white wedding.  I'm waiting on some more stuff to come in the mail to finish it up.  This is what it is supposed to look like....pics to come!

Yesterday we had to go to class to learn about our new self scheduling program.  I think I'm going to like it, but after Crystal signs up, it blocks me from any of those days.  So needless to say, she hasn't had the class, but when I signed in, she had already signed up...no fridays and one weekend out of a 6 week schedule.  Nice!  She is such a little bitch!  I was not happy!  I may be making another visit to Karen's office...which will prob be just a waste of my precious time.  On the other hand...I think this system may work really well!  Let's hope it does!!

I got all my paperwork ready to start school July 1st.  I'm kind of excited!  It's good to use your brain for other things rather than healthcare.  I'm not sure this will get me anywhere, but I'm just really excited to say I have my Master's Degree...what an accomplishment that will be!  I wasted so many of my years "playing" in college.  Now...after 13 years...it's time to get serious!  Also, who could pass up such a great opportunity!  100% paid by Martin Memorial!!!  Woot!Woot!

Sunday we bought my husband a new truck.  It is really nice!  05' ford 4 door, black with nice tires and most importantly an AC!!  He picks it up on Saturday. We spent all day shopping for one.  He finally got rid of his beloved Jeep.  It just wasn't convenient for a family.  I can't wait to take it places and leave mine in the garage.  Mine gets driven to Stuart 3-4X a week and the miles are getting ridiculous on it.  The only thing is, I hope my husband  picked the truck he wanted and not the one I wanted.  Of course, I know I have champagne taste, so I picked the nicest one! Overall, it was a good day!  They sent us home with a loaner, so they could service his truck.  It's going to be so nice to have a 4 door truck...now if he will only take care of it!!!    Pics to follow!

Well, I don't know much more right now...I'm planning on just relaxing today.  This is my last day off of 6 then on for 4 nights.  I may even go lay out at the beach and relax today.  I've only been once this whole summer.  Sounds rather nice!!

So, I'm already planning Ash's bachelorette party a year in advance.  I'm thinking Jamaica, Cancun, Key West or maybe even a cruise.  I'm thinking maybe not a cruise because I think that's what they are doing for their honeymoon.  Anyway, I can't wait!!!  It will be a blast!  She showed me the place she is having her wedding yesterday...and it was really nice!  I think we will stay the night in a cottage.  Such a cute little place!  I'm so excited for her!  I just hope all of the "drama" that comes along with weddings doesn't bring her down!

Last day of 4th grade!  Woot! Woot!  Samantha has a busy summer planned!  Yippy!
