Date Night!

Well, Saturday we took Samantha to her grandparents house and we went out to dinner for date night!  We went with GT and Nikki out to Avanzarre.  It is at Itallian restaurant and I love the atmosphere!  We got there and GT had not made reservations yet, so Jeff and I went to the bar.  I started the evening with a Pinot Noir.  Yummy...my new fav red wine thanks to Jen!  When GT got there, of course he knew the owner so we got seated immediately.  Good ol' GT!  GT also knew the waiter so we got a great bottle of Shirraz for a great price.  I stopped at 3 glasses of wine, since my prior endeavors with wine haven't turned out so well!  I ordered chicken picatta which was really delish!  Jeff got the raw steak as usual.  We started out with their yummy bread and olive oil dip with spices.  it is so good!  Then, Jeff and  GT ordered steal tar tar for an appetizer.  All and all it was great!  Then we decided to go have a drink at the former "under tow" which is now called Stax. They have really improved that place!  We only had one drink and decided to call it a night.  It's alway great to do dinner with these guys.  We had a great night!

So, Sunday was mother's day.  I got a dozen pink roses and a nice card.  We started the morning at church, breakfast then off to wal-mart for grocery shopping.  We cooked out at Aunt Joyce's and I made a delicious peach cobbler.  I have to say, It was one of my best!  All in all it was a relaxing day.  I got to take a nice nap and just relax.  Always great when I get to take a nap.
Well, it's back to work for me tonight!  We are going to look at 2 more houses today that aren't short sales.  We are feeling a little discouraged about the one in Falcon Trace.  I really pray we get it...but in reality, we may not.
Well, I'm really hoping my friend Ash is having a wonderful time in the keys, and my parents and granny have a great time in Branson!  God please keep them all safe in their travels!  They all deserve a great vacay!
Well, enough rambling for one day!  Off to bed with my 2 angels for a little R&R.
