I'm really giving up on ever getting a house in Florida!

So, my realtor keeps calling/writing to see what's up with the house.  We got a verbal 2 weeks ago...and still waiting.  I've got planning and friends coming down to visit.  Really?  Get this shit on the road already!  I've bought cute decorations for the pool that are just setting around the house.  Please God let us get this house!  If we don't, we will be starting all over again because all houses in Vero are is short sale.  I just want to get settled in.
Feeling really bummed right now!
