That afternoon we had Brooke's wedding. Of course it was beautiful! Her bridesmaids wore a long gown in a plum color. Her colors were the colors in a peacock feather. It was really pretty! The reception was at Meadowoods...which was really nice. Each table was adorned with it's own cake made with carrot cake. There were candles all around and the tables had coaster (with the bride and groom's pics inside) and crowns with the names of their guests. Really a cute idea. They had open bar and the meal consisted of fish and steak. Overall it was all really good. The only complaint I had was that it was really, really drawn out. The wedding was at 5:00 and we were at the reception by 6:00. We didn't eat dinner until 9:00. By the time we ate and cut the cake we were ready to go. The dancing didn't get started until about 10:00 and we left at 10:30. I liked the way we did our wedding. We had open bar the whole time, ate and started the party! There was no lag time...it just flowed really well. Of course no wedding goes without a little drama! I guess Kim invited Aunt Doris and her daughter, but Doris brought her grand daughter instead. Kim said she didn't invite the grand daughter and when we went to be seated...Kim didn't have the grand daughter a seat. She sat them with us, so ninny felt really bad. We eventually got the little girl a chair and I think the drama was over. In my experience with weddings, people always bring people that were not invited. I don't think people realize how expensive it is to feed everyone and serve free drinks. That was pretty rude of Kim to do that, but I kind of know how she feels! For exaample, we invited Kim and Billy ONLY and when she RSVP's....we had 7 more people on the RSVP. She wrote and asked us if we had forgotten all 3 of her kids, their dates/wives and 1 kid. Really??? I found this really rude!!! Well, I guess things always come back and bite you in the ass!!! Anyway, enough about wedding drama! No wedding is complete without it! Ha! Ha!
This a.m. started out with a bang! I got awaken by Samantha saying "Holley! Roxy pooped in her cage!" I jumped out of bed and sure enough I had a "present" awaiting me! Plus, for a bonus I had paw marks of poop all over my carpet, tile etc. This means she had done this when Jeff let her out at 6:00 a.m.....and he just didn't see or smell it???? Really??? And my family wonders why I'm such a psycho??? My work is never ending! And, where is the help???? NO WHERE!
So, yesterday we decided we would put Jeff's beloved Jeep on craig's list and try to sell it. Of course before we could do that, it had to be cleaned. And who ended up cleaning the whole jeep by herself.....ME!!! Yeah, not one finger did he lift to help me! Supposedly he was going to get his motorcycle running so we could sell it too. Unfortunately....it is still in a million pieces in the garage. Shocking! Needless to say...again I do everything around this house. Every time that Jeep has been cleaned, I've been the one to do it. Now he wants to buy some fancy truck with leather in it? Why? You don't even clean your Jeep. I just don't get it???? If I pay alot of $$ for something, I'm going to keep in clean and nice. Maybe I was just raised differently.....but this is intolleralbe! OK, enought bithching for now! Oh, and one more thing...Jeff wants a baby? Why? To look at? He won't help me at all with a baby. You should see how he acts when I ask him to take HIS dog out...You would think it was going to kill him! I'm so over it! NO BABY for ME!!!! NO WAY!
Well, guess I'll wrap it up for now. I've got to take my little princess to the vet at 11:00 a.m. She has a bad ear infection. Poor baby!
Oh, and I must add...I bought Zumba videos yesterday. Just call me Christina..ha! ha! It comes with weighted Miracas...kind of like the shake weight! Oh yeah baby! Ha! Ha!
